Only the Devil Lives Without Hope wins Guldbagge.

Composer of the original music to Only the Devil Lives Without Hope, Ola Kvernberg is awarded with the Guldbagge for best original film music composed in 2020. The Guldbagge is the leading national Swedish film award presented since 1964 for outstanding contributions to Swedish film.

In his speech following the announcement of the award, Ola Kvernberg stated: “I want to thank Director Magnus Gertten and Editor Jesper Osmund. Your trust and confidence made it possible for me to create something, I have not created before.”

This is the second big film award for Only the Devil Lives Without Hope, after the film received the main award at the 2020 Nordic / Docs festival in November.
