Magnus Gertten’s latest film continues being selected to festivals.

Only the Devil Lives Without Hope, the latest film directed by Magnus Gertten, continues to be selected for the competition programs of leading international film festivals. In September the film travels to Sarajevo and Berlin.  

Only the Devil Lives Without Hope is selected for the Official Competition of AJB DOC, the Al Jazeera Balkans International Documentary Film Festival. It will be held online and in Sarajevo from September 10-14. Director Magnus Gertten will be present in Sarajevo for the screening on September 11 and meet the audience for at Q&A after the film.  

Next selection for Only the Devil Lives Without Hope is Human Rights Film Festival Berlin, which takes place on September 16-25. Here the film is one of only ten films selected for the competition of the festival, where it is competing for the The Willy Brandt Documentary Film Award for Freedom and Human Rights. The is awarded to documentary films for their impressive artistic and content-related achievements. In Berlin the film is screening on:
Friday, September 17 at 17:30 at Klick
Monday September 20 at 18:00 at BUFA
