For the next edition of Malmø Doc Lab six fresh documentary projects have been selected. The Malmø Doc Lab is bringing documentary projects to the next level and offering a network for the regional documentary industry in the Öresund region.

Malmø Doc Lab is offering a focused and effective project development opportunity for the six project teams selected to take part. The teams include a variety of brand new documentary makers and more experienced directors.

The six selected projects are:

• Nour by Caroline Troedsson
• Lämnad by Annika Fredriksson
• Kyssplatsen by Per Anders Rudelius
• The Art of Loving Your Mother by Selina Håkansson & Sascha Fülscher
• Black Angels by Sarah Olsson & Gilda Naumanen
• Swimmingpool of Life by Nicholas Wakeham.

The workshop will mainly be focusing on the development and enhancement of the selected projects but will also offer a presentation by Klara Grunning from the Swedish Film Institute. She will talk about her work as film commissioner for documentary film.

The third edition of Malmø Doc Lab will take place on September 11 at Auto Images in Malmö. There are still available seats for observers. Here you can read how to apply for an observer seat.
