Only the Devil Lives Without Hope is selected as the opening film at DocsValència.

It is a big honour to announce that the latest film from Auto Images, Only the Devil Lives Without Hope directed by Magnus Gertten is selected as the opening film at the upcoming DocsValència film festival in Spain. 

DocsValència has quickly established itself as one of the leading documentary film festivals in Spain. This fourth edition of the festival runs December 10 – 19, 2020. It will, like many other festivals, run as an online festival. To adjust the festival to this format the organisers will this year brand the festival under the hashtag #DocsEnCasa.

Only the Devil Lives Without Hope is a real-life thriller about love, betrayal, spies, assassins and the young woman Dilya's unbreakable hope for her brother, who is locked in a desert prison called "The Place of No Return". At this Spanish premiere of Only the Devil Lives Without Hope it will be screening with the Spanish title Solo el diablo vive sin esperanza.
