Becoming Zlatan Opens in 200+ Cinemas
On February 17th Becoming Zlatan / Den Unge Zlatan opens in 200+ cinemas in Sweden. The film premieres in Dutch cinemas the same week.
Becoming Zlatan follows the origins of Zlatan’s professional career through previously unseen footage, including his debut with the Malmö football team in 1999 and his journey to the major teams Ajax and Juventus. The film includes interviews with football icons like Marco van Basten, Ronald Koeman, Fabio Capello, and many others.
Further cinema premieres are coming in spring.
The film is directed by brothers Magnus and Fredrik Gertten and produced by Auto Images and WG Film in co-production with Key Docs, The Netherlands and Indyca Films, Italy.
