Magnus Gertten, Director, Producer & Auto Images Co-owner
Magnus Gertten has a background as TV and radio journalist. Since 1998 he has directed a large number of documentaries. Most of Gertten’s films have been shown internationally at film festivals and by leading European and international broadcasters. Magnus Gertten’s works include feature length documentaries Becoming Zlatan and Every Face Has a Name. Becoming Zlatan, co-directed with his younger brother Fredrik Gertten premiered at the 2015 IDFA festival and is currently travelling international festivals and being sold for distribution worldwide. Every Face Has a Name was co-produced and pre-sold to 11 broadcasters worldwide and has received several international awards, including a FIPRESCI Award. His film Tusen Bitar / A Thousand Pieces, co-directed with Stefan Berg, has sold over 160.000 tickets in Nordic cinemas. His documentary Harbour of Hope had Swedish cinema release and its international festival premiere at Thessaloniki Documentary Filmfestival in March 2012. Among Magnus’ other films are Rolling Like a Stone (2005) and Long Distance Love (2008). Rolling Like a Stone won the Best Music Documentary Award at the Silverdocs/AFI Festival in 2006. Long Distance Love won Best Documentary at Hamptons International Film Festival in 2009.

Ove Rishøj Jensen, Producer and Outreach Manager
Ove has worked with production and outreach at Auto Images since 2011, being involved in projects like Harbour of Hope and Every Face Has a Name. With an emphasis on transmedia aspects, narrative structures and distribution strategies, Ove is also provides creative input to the development of new projects. Ove has over 13 years of experience as a consultant on international documentary financing, as he since Winter 2003 has been working with EDN – European Documentary Network; which he still continues to do. He is also a board member of Doc Lounge.
Ove Rishøj Jensen has a master degree in film studies with additional studying of cultural journalism and humanistic computer informatics.
Joakim Polling, Technical Coordinator
Joakim has a background as a freelance film worker, cinema projectionist and sound designer in the gaming industry. He started his collaboration with Auto Images in conjunction with the short film festival Ett skott från höften (Shoot From the Hip), in spring 2012 and has been employed as a technical coordinator since 2013.
Joakim has studied film production at Fridhems folkhögskola 2006-2008 and the documentary education at Skurups folkhögskola in 2011.
Sebastian Claesson, Researcher
Sebastian is educated as journalist in Gothenburg and wrote his first articles as a reporter in regional newspaper Sydsvenskan. After that he has mainly worked with television production. The introduction to documentary film took place in 2010 at Laika Film & Television as researcher. Since the end of 2012, Sebastian has been a part of Auto Images and is working intensively to drive the research work forward in our projects.
Lennart Ström, Auto Images Co-owner
Lennart Ström studied media education at Dramatiska Institutet 1984-85 and has been a co-owner of Auto Images since 2000. He worked for BUFF, the Children and Youth Film Festival in Malmö since 1986 and was the festival director since 1999. He was part of initiating the regional fund Film in Skåne and was the Manager there between 1996-2000.
At Auto Images Lennart Ström har produced and co-produced a long list of documentaries and fiction films. This includes the Danish family film Tinke in 2001 and Leif Magnusson's film Doxa in 2005 and documentaries Becomin Zlatan, Every Face Has a Name, A Thousand Pieces/Tusen Bitar, Harbour of Hope and many more.
